A mix of art, design, fashion and eccentricity, Kara brings a great deal of energy and positive thinking to the studio. A self-proclaimed artist, Kara's love for all mediums shines throughout the studio; from photography to calligraphy and painting to jewelry making, the studio truly exudes design in all forms. Her passion for art radiates through her life as well, from her countless tattoos (you'll have to ask her yourself…) to her custom painted and modified motorcycle, Kara is a true "Jack of all…mediums?"
Kara graduated from Marist College in 2007 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in communications, public relations and minors in fashion merchandising and business. Unsatisfied with sitting behind a desk or writing press releases for some big company, Kara held out to find something she could be passionate about. Fresh out of college she set out to become a tattoo artist. As her apprenticeship unraveled, she found this was not the path she was ready to take and set out to find more. In the fall of 2008 Kara was introduced to Evan and as they say, "The rest is history." Kara and Evan are truly a dynamic duo. Their ability to bounce ideas off one another and collaborate on designs makes them a force to be reckoned with.
